State level Yoga Olympiad 2025 organized

 

Ranchi: Ranchi district has performed brilliantly in the state level Yoga Olympiad and won the title of overall champion. The district administration has encouraged the participants who won medals in the Olympiad with their yoga talent from Ranchi district. As per the direction of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantri, District Education Superintendent Badal Raj met the participants who won gold and silver medals and congratulated them on their success and gave them good wishes along with necessary suggestions to win the national level competition. Physical teachers and teachers of the concerned schools were also present on the occasion.

       It is known that on May 20, the State Level Yoga Olympiad 2025 was organized at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium Khelgaon Ranchi. In this, a total of 04 participants in class 6-8 category and a total of 03 participants in class 9-10 category from Ranchi district secured first place and captured the gold medal. In the girls' category, a total of 04 girls in class 9-10 secured second place in the entire state and won the silver medal. Ranchi district became the overall champion by scoring more than 1800 points in the entire competition. The national level competition for the participants selected at the state level will be organized by NCERT, New Delhi, Ministry of Education, Government of India in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu from 15-18 June 2025.
