Arrangement of online and offline marketplace for SHG products: Sudhivya Kumar




Hazaribagh: An important discussion of state level urban women self-help group (SHG) was organized at Nagar Bhawan, Hazaribagh in which sisters from all the districts of Jharkhand participated. On this occasion, Minister Sudhivya Kumar, Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Jharkhand personally attended and interacted directly and appreciated their work.

           The minister said that the state government is fully committed to women empowerment and self-reliance. He announced that the products being prepared by SHG will be launched in the market under a unified brand name, so that their organized and effective marketing can be done.

            He informed that the sisters of the group will be given training from time to time so that they can become more professional and improve the quality of their products. The state government plans to arrange online and offline marketplace for SHG products, so that the sale of their goods increases and their income can increase.

      Minister Sudhivya Kumar also announced that a state-level mega event will be organized soon, bringing together SHG groups from all districts on one platform to showcase and sell their products through stalls. Groups involved in manufacturing will be provided special technical training so that they can further improve their production capacity and quality. Coordination with banks will be established to overcome challenges in credit linkage and ensure that more and more groups benefit from the scheme.
