Chief Minister Hemant Soren Visits Maa Dewri Temple; Prays for State's Prosperity
Ranchi/Tamar: On Saturday, the Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife and fellow MLA, visited the renowned temple located in Tamar. There, he performed the ritualistic worship of the sixteen-armed Goddess Dewri and prayed for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the state's residents.
Adhering to traditional customs, the Chief Minister bowed his head in reverence at the Goddess's shrine to seek blessings. The rituals were conducted amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras by temple priest Manoj Panda and Chief Pahan Sukhram.
Upon learning of the Chief Minister's arrival, a large number of local villagers and devotees gathered at the temple premises. People welcomed the Chief Minister and expressed their enthusiasm at his presence among them.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren remarked that Jharkhand's rich cultural and religious heritage defines the state's identity. He noted that the Maa Dewri temple is a major center of faith for devotees and that a sense of positive energy is felt simply by visiting the site.
The Chief Minister added that the blessings of Maa Dewri serve as a constant source of inspiration for the state's development, peace, and public welfare.
