Romantic Affair Leads to Murder: Youth's Murder Solved in Doranda; Two Accused Arrested
Ranchi: The police have solved the case regarding the murder of a youth within the Doranda police station limits and have arrested two accused individuals. Police investigations have revealed that the motive behind the murder stemmed from a family dispute linked to a romantic affair. The iron leg guard of a Bullet motorcycle, which was used as the weapon in the incident, has also been recovered.
According to the police, on May 26, Md. Tanveer Ansari—a resident of Firdous Nagar, Manitola—was attacked. Critically injured, Tanveer Ansari was admitted to RIMS for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries during the course of his medical care. Subsequently, the investigation into the case was pursued from the angle of a homicide.
The investigation brought to light the fact that the deceased had a relationship with Shabnam Parveen, the mother of the prime accused, Md. Javed Akhtar. This issue had been a source of long-standing tension and conflict between the two parties. On the day of the incident, an altercation escalated into a full-blown dispute, during which the accused, Javed Akhtar, attacked Tanveer Ansari using the iron leg guard. Tanveer Ansari subsequently died due to the severe injuries sustained during the attack.
Given the gravity of the case, a special team was constituted under the directives of the Senior Superintendent of Police. During the subsequent raids, the police arrested Md. Javed Akhtar and Md. Ejaz (alias 'Golden'). The police have also recovered the weapon used in the murder.
Police officials state that further legal proceedings regarding the case are underway, and other aspects of the incident are also being investigated.
