Voter List Revision Intensifies: Preparations Reviewed in Jamshedpur; No Eligible Voter Must Be Left Out — Chief Electoral Officer
Preparations for the intensive revision of the voter list have been accelerated in Jamshedpur. Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar inspected polling stations across the East and West Assembly constituencies and reviewed the progress of the work. He issued directives to ensure that no eligible citizen is left out of the voter list; to this end, he instructed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to conduct door-to-door verification and affix stickers. He further stated that voters who have been missed so far must be identified and mapped, and lists of absent, shifted, deceased, and duplicate voters should be compiled in accordance with regulations and verified by political parties. During the inspection, the BLO registers and sketch maps were also examined. Other officials were also present.
