Jharkhand Constable Exam Paper Leak Scandal: 166 Accused Sent to Jail; Major Revelations Expected During Remand
Taking decisive action in the Jharkhand Constable Recruitment Exam paper leak case, the police produced 166 arrested accused individuals before a court, which subsequently remanded all of them to 14 days of judicial custody at Hotwar Jail. The case centers on an under-construction nursing college located in Radgaon, within the Tamar police station area, where a police raid uncovered a scheme involving the leakage of question papers prior to the exam and the coaching of candidates to memorize the answers. The investigation has identified five key masterminds who orchestrated the illicit deals, charging a fee of ₹10 lakh per candidate. Among the accused, 112 hail from Jharkhand and 47 from Bihar, while the addresses of seven individuals remain unknown. The group also includes seven women. The police are expected to seek their remand shortly to conduct a thorough investigation into the operational network and funding sources behind the scandal.
