Crackdown on Drug Trafficking in Ranchi: Two Accused Arrested; Brown Sugar and Cash Recovered
Acting against drug trafficking, the Ranchi Police conducted raids within the Argora and Sukhdev Nagar police station limits and arrested two accused individuals. Based on a confidential tip-off received by the Senior Superintendent of Police, a special team was constituted to carry out an operation in the Harmu and Vidyanagar areas. During the operation, 7.36 grams of brown sugar, ₹4,640 in cash, a mobile phone, and an Activa scooter were recovered from the possession of the accused. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Sohail Khan and Diwakar Kumar. A case has been registered in this regard under the NDPS Act, and the investigation is ongoing. Following their production before the court, both accused have been sent to Hotwar Jail under judicial custody.
