Invitation to the Chief Minister for the Chhau Festival 2026
Ranchi: Nitish Kumar Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan, paid a courtesy visit to Hemant Soren today at the Jharkhand Mantralaya. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner extended an invitation to the Chief Minister to attend the three-day State-level Chaitra Parv-cum-Chhau Festival 2026, scheduled to be held from April 11 to 13, 2026, at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Seraikela.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner also provided the Chief Minister with detailed information regarding the preparations, cultural programs, and logistical arrangements for the festival. This festival will showcase the rich folk culture and traditions of the region.
