Government Takes Tough Stance on LPG Crisis: Backlog to be Cleared in 10 Days; Strict Action Against Black Marketing
Ranchi: Adopting a firm stance regarding the shortage in LPG gas supply within the state, the Minister has issued an ultimatum to all gas agencies to normalize the situation within 7 to 10 days. Directives have been issued to immediately clear pending deliveries on a priority basis in districts such as Ranchi, Jamshedpur, and Dhanbad. The Minister clarified that illegal deliveries on public roads or black marketing will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against the culprits. He gave assurances that adequate stocks of gas are available in the state and that timely doorstep delivery will be ensured for every household. Additionally, the general public has been appealed to refrain from panicking and to contact 1967 in case of any issues.
