Auto Operations Partially Suspended; Meeting Postponed
Ranchi: Dinesh Soni, State President of the Jharkhand State CNG Auto Drivers' Federation, announced that auto-rickshaw operations on the Tatisilwai-Kantatoli route were suspended from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on April 15, 2026. This decision was taken in protest against issues concerning the determination of passenger fares, the collection of membership fees, and illegal extortion by agents. The meeting, originally scheduled to be held at the E-F Ground in Tatisilwai, was postponed due to the administration withholding permission for the event. It has now been decided that the next meeting will be held on Sunday at Durga Soren Chowk in Namkum. For the time being, all other scheduled programs remain suspended.
