🚒 Fire Service Week: Chief Minister Hemant Soren Lauds the Courage of Personnel
Ranchi, April 14, 2026: On the occasion of 'Fire Service Week,' Director General of Police (Home Guards and Fire Services), M.S. Bhatia, pinned a badge on Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister's Residential Office located on Kanke Road. During the event, the Chief Minister extended his greetings to the people of the state and lauded the work undertaken by the Fire Department.
The Chief Minister stated that it is absolutely essential to raise awareness regarding fire safety among the public through the observance of Fire Service Week. Praising the courage and dedication of the fire service personnel, he remarked that they remain ever-ready to ensure the safety of the people, often without regard for their own lives. Their role becomes critically important during times of disaster. The Chief Minister further added that the State Government is continuously striving to strengthen fire services and expand their resources.
