📰 Auto Fares Fixed in Ranchi; New Rates to Apply on All Routes from April 13

Putting an end to the fare dispute, the Jharkhand State CNG Auto Drivers' Federation has released a new fare chart for autos operating on the Kanta Toli–Tati Silver–Gondli Pokhar–Angara route. Dinesh Soni, the Federation's State President, stated that these rates were determined by the drivers through mutual consensus following complaints regarding arbitrary overcharging of passengers.
He added that, effective April 13, 2026, the fare chart will be mandatorily displayed in all autos to ensure that every passenger receives service at the prescribed rates. ---

🔹 Kanta Toli Route
1. Local Fare: ₹10
2. Kanta Toli – Selwadi: ₹10
3. Namkum – PMI: ₹15
4. Kanta Toli – Namkum: ₹20
5. Kanta Toli – Ara Gate/Centurion: ₹25
6. Kanta Toli – Mahilaung (Tati Silver): ₹30
7. Kanta Toli – Milan Chowk: ₹35
8. Kanta Toli – Gondli Pokhar: ₹40

The Federation has clearly stated that this new system will put a complete stop to the charging of arbitrary fares and will provide relief to passengers. Furthermore, displaying the fare list inside the auto-rickshaws will ensure transparency.
