Monitoring and Safety Essential for Vaccination Success: Dr. Prabhat
The three-day vaccination training session for medical officers, held at the Civil Surgeon's office auditorium, concluded on Saturday. Addressing the closing session, Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar said that supportive supervision and regular monitoring are the most crucial elements for the 100% success of the vaccination campaign. He instructed the officers to maintain close vigilance at the field level.
During the training, Dr. Asim Kumar Manjhi elaborated on the National Immunization Schedule. He shared technical information on the new technological advancements and the importance of adhering to the schedule. UNICEF representative Annapurna also conducted a session on injection safety. She emphasized that there should be no compromise on safety standards during vaccination to ensure zero risk of infection.
Medical officers from various blocks of the district participated in this three-day session, the main objective of which was to improve the quality of health services and expand the immunization coverage in the district.
