JMM nominates Sujit Vijay Anand Kujur as Ranchi Mayor candidate, other contenders withdraw their names
Ranchi: In a meeting of the JMM district and metropolitan coordination committee, the name of Sujit Vijay Anand Kujur was unanimously approved as the Ranchi Mayor candidate. In this meeting, chaired by Mustaq Alam, the party's unity was evident when the other five contenders for the mayoral post withdrew their candidacies in support of Kujur.
Several senior leaders, including central members Pawan Jedia, Antu Tirkey, and Ashwini Sharma, were present at the meeting. They all welcomed Sujit Vijay Anand Kujur and officially withdrew the other names at the election office. Party leaders claimed that JMM would register a strong victory in the municipal corporation elections.
