Horticulture Development Scheme: Mushroom Kits Distributed to Women Farmers, Hybrid Seeds to 250 Farmers in Budhmu
A five-day mushroom training programme was organised in Sarle Panchayat of Budhmu block under the Horticulture Development Scheme by the District Horticulture Office, Ranchi. On the final day of the programme, Kanke Assembly MLA was present at the event.
During the programme, mushroom kits and certificates were distributed to 50 women farmers to help them start mushroom cultivation and enhance their income. In addition, hybrid vegetable seeds were distributed among 250 farmers from different panchayats of Budhmu block to promote improved farming practices.
The programme was attended by District Horticulture Officer Mahesh Ram, Block Technical Manager Pradeep Sarkar, Assistant Technical Manager Sukla Sarkar, panchayat representatives, and a large number of women and men farmers.
