Ranchi: A nine-member inquiry committee constituted by State President and MP Aditya Sahu to investigate the recent incident of alleged assault and inhuman treatment of raiyats in Barkagaon submitted its report at the state party office. The committee recommended a fair and comprehensive high-level probe into the entire matter.
Those present while handing over the report included National President of the Scheduled Tribe Morcha Sameer Oraon, State Vice President Rakesh Prasad and Aarti Kujur. The committee stated that a thorough examination of all aspects related to the incident is essential to ensure justice for the affected raiyats and to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future. It also expressed hope that the state leadership would take prompt and concrete action on the recommendations.
