Ranchi: On 31 January 2026, a Stress Relief and Mental Health Camp was organized at Ranchi Women’s College under the National Mental Health Programme. The camp was jointly conducted by the District Health Society, Ranchi and Tele MANAS Jharkhand, with the support of the college administration. The objective of the programme was to create awareness about mental health among students and provide guidance for effective stress management.
During the camp, expert doctors and trained counsellors interacted with students, listened to their concerns, and provided professional counselling. Medicines were also distributed to students wherever required. Various group activities were conducted to convey messages related to stress management, positive thinking, and emotional well-being. In addition, one-on-one counselling sessions were arranged for students who needed personalized support.
Officials from the District Health Society, members of the Tele MANAS team, college faculty, NSS programme officers, and volunteers were present. The camp was successfully conducted with the active support of NSS students and the Learning Links Foundation team.
