
Jharkhand Gains Global Recognition After Davos Visit, Investor Confidence Grows
Ranchi, January 27, 2026: After successfully representing Jharkhand at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and during engagements in the UK, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and MLA Kalpana Soren were accorded a warm welcome on their return to Ranchi by the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Chamber office-bearers and members received them at Birsa Munda Airport.
Addressing a press interaction at the Chamber office, the Davos visit was described as a milestone for the state. Chamber President Aditya Malhotra said the visit has helped position Jharkhand firmly on the global investment map. He added that several national and international companies, including Tech Mahindra, Tata Group, Adani Group, Lulu Group and TCS, expressed strong interest in investing in Jharkhand.
General Secretary Rohit Agrawal stated that Jharkhand’s “Grow with Nature” vision received wide appreciation at the global level. The Chamber reiterated its commitment to work closely with the government to promote industrial growth, attract investment and generate employment opportunities in the state.
