Extending warm greetings and best wishes to the Sikh community and the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti and Kartik Purnima, the Chief Minister said that this is a very auspicious day for all. He noted that Guru Nanak Jayanti holds great significance for the Sikh community, as people draw inspiration from the teachings and path shown by their first Guru.
Soren said, “Every year, I make it a point to come here on this day. Attending the Prakash Utsav fills me with immense joy. This celebration sends a message of unity and harmony in society. Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings emphasize social cohesion and togetherness.”
The Chief Minister added that Guru Nanak Dev Ji is not only an inspiration for the Sikh community but for the entire humanity. “His visionary thoughts, ideals, and the path he showed can lead to the realization of a strong and harmonious society,” he said.
He further stated that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, actions, and dedication teach us the importance of holding each other’s hands and moving forward together — a symbol of the greatest strength in the world. Soren appreciated how devotees from various parts of the state gathered for the Prakash Utsav, driven by their deep devotion toward Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Concluding his address, the Chief Minister extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Sikh community and the organizers of the Prakash Utsav.
Among those present on the occasion were State Minority Commission Vice-Chairperson Jyoti Singh Matharu, Guru Gobind Singh Public School President Ranjit Singh Happy, Gurdwara Main Road Secretary Gagandeep Singh Sethi, and several other dignitaries.
