Two advocates who spread anarchy expelled from Bar Association

Jharkhand/Ramgarh (H.S.): District Advocates Association has expelled two advocates Ajay Kumar Singh and Pawan Kumar Singh from the association for spreading anarchy. This information was given by District Advocates Association President Anand Agarwal on Tuesday.

He told that both of them had hidden many facts. When they came to take membership of District Advocates Association, five criminal cases were pending against them in the court. They had hidden this information in the affidavit they had given while taking membership of the association.

Facts revealed in investigation of forgery

District Advocates Association was informed about many allegations against advocates Ajay Kumar Singh and Pawan Kumar Singh. A complaint was also made by Ashish Kumar, in which it was said that Ajay Kumar Singh and Pawan Kumar Singh had cheated him of eight lakhs in the name of land. District Advocates Association formed a four-member committee in this matter, which was led by advocate Rishi Kumar Mahato. After the revelations in the investigation report of the team, the executive meeting has decided to cancel the membership of both the advocates.

What is the whole matter

It has become clear in the investigation report that advocates Ajay Kumar Singh and Pawan Kumar Singh filed a wrong affidavit during enrollment in the Advocates Association Ramgarh. Many cases are registered against them in Ramgarh and Patratu police station. After this, a committee was formed for investigation in the executive meeting held in the month of August. In which Bar Association Vice President Rishi Mahato, Co-Treasurer Bikesh Ranjan, Executive Member Dwarika Prasad and Jagat Mahato were directed to investigate the matter and submit the report.

During the investigation, it was found that criminal cases are registered against both the advocates in Ramgarh and Patratu police station. Also, despite knowing the facts related to enrollment in Jharkhand High Court, they got themselves enrolled in District Advocates Association Ramgarh by deliberately hiding it. Not only this, a provisional certificate was also issued to Advocate Ajay Kumar Singh by the Jharkhand State Bar Council till May 16, 2024. Despite the said period, Ajay Kumar Singh was regularly appearing in the court as an advocate and performing judicial work, which is a criminal act.
