Release of the novel "Dukhiya," based on the struggles of women's lives

Jharkhand/Ranchi : Devendra Nath Mahato, Central Vice President of the Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM), met Governor Santosh Gangwar at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The novel "Dukhiya Khortha" was released during the ceremony.

On this occasion, the Governor was presented with the novel "Dukhiya Khortha," written by Dr. Kumari Shashi, Head of the Department of Khortha Regional and Tribal Languages ​​at Ranchi University and renowned educationist, along with the acclaimed author Dev Kumar's own work, "Main Hoon Jharkhand," and a Birhor Hindi-English dictionary.

The novel's author, Dr. Kumari Shashi, stated that the novel "Dukhiya Khortha," is a vivid saga of women's struggles. It tells the story of a woman ostracized by society, who, despite having a home, was left without a home. Despite having parents, she lived like an orphan. Yet, she struggled to fulfill her dreams.

The Governor said that Dukhiya will prove helpful in raising awareness about women's issues in society.

Devendra Nath Mahato said that literature is a mirror of society. Even today, in the 21st century, women face neglect, harassment, and struggle. Works like Dukhiya will serve to revolutionize and awaken awareness among women.

Many dignitaries, including writers Anant Mahato, Sumar Mahato, and student leader Chandan Kumar Rajak, were present on the occasion.
