Jharkhand/East Singhbhum: Criminals after committing chain snatching near Vastu Vihar in Birsanagar police station area on Saturday.
When Lal Bihari Prasad, a resident of Moharda Janaki Colony, went out to buy milk, two miscreants on a bike snatched his gold chain and fled.
The victim immediately informed the police station about the incident, but the surprising thing was that the police did not reach the spot till 12 noon. After this, the local people informed the police by dialling 100. Angry with the late response and negligence on the patrolling system, the residents of the area are raising questions on the police administration.
