Jharkhand/Ranchi: Taking a major step towards strengthening Jharkhand's health system, the state government is going to appoint 200 doctors on September 25th. This will include 100 permanent government doctors and 100 contract doctors. State Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hand over the appointment letters to the doctors.
Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari stated on Tuesday that this is the largest recruitment process ever, which will directly benefit the people of villages and towns. Recently, the department also appointed 91 community health officers and 126 contract doctors. Previously, health services in rural areas were hampered due to a shortage of doctors.
The minister stated that continuous efforts are being made to improve health services in the state. Now, the necessary facilities and security will be ensured for new doctors to serve. Furthermore, doctors from outside states are also coming forward to serve in Jharkhand. The government believes that these appointments will fill the long-standing gaps in the health system and provide better treatment to people from villages to cities.
