Ranchi: Sahil Gaddi alias Kurkure, a resident of Hindpiri, was shot dead near Bhatti Chowk on 10 August 2025. Action has been intensified in this high profile murder case. The bail plea of former councilor Mohammad Aslam, the main conspirator in the murder case, has been rejected by the CJM court of Ranchi. Advocate Avinash Kumar had argued during the hearing. After the court's decision, Aslam will have to remain in jail in judicial custody. A petition was filed on his behalf on August 22, pleading for bail. Aslam had just come out of Ranchi jail on bail when he was arrested again on August 12. Aslam is accused of plotting the murder of Sahil Gaddi alias Kurkure while in jail. Meanwhile, absconding accused Aman Raja surrendered in the court. The court has sent him to judicial custody. Aman Raja had gone underground after the incident, but after continuous police raids, he knocked the door of the court.
At the same time, the police arrested another accused Mohd. Feroz from Chaibasa. Investigation has revealed that Feroz had given shelter to the main accused Mohd. Arman and other criminals in his house after the incident. Arman also confirmed this fact during interrogation. Earlier, the police had arrested four accused including Mohd. Arman, Mohd. Aslam and Mohd. Asif and sent them to jail. Now after the arrest of Aman Raja and Mohd. Feroz, the police investigation has become more intense.
