Weather pleasant in Ranchi due to heavy rain

Ranchi: Heavy storm and heavy rain in Ranchi on Saturday, while providing relief from scorching heat, also disrupted the traffic system of the city. Due to the fall of a big tree on East Jail Road, the road got completely jammed. Due to this, vehicles had to take a detour. The rain was so heavy that many four-wheeler drivers had to stop their vehicles on the roadside. Due to strong wind and storm, there have been reports of small and big trees falling from different parts of the city. However, the matter of relief is that there is no report of loss of life and property from anywhere.

   Along with the rain, power supply also got disrupted, due to which people had to face problems in many areas. Due to water accumulation on the roadside, pedestrians and two-wheeler drivers faced a lot of problems. The Meteorological Department had already issued a warning of strong wind, thunder and rain. Not only Ranchi, news of rain is also coming from other districts of the state. At present the weather in Ranchi has become pleasant, but the effect of rain was clearly visible on the speed of the city.
