Ranchi Traffic Police conducted a special drive from July 1 to July 31, 2026, issuing 1,20,197 challans to traffic violators. This enforcement action generated ₹7.80 crore in revenue, while 1,015 cases were referred to court for prosecution. The highest number of challans issued during the drive were for 'no-parking' violations (56,032) and riding without a helmet (51,055). The traffic police have urged citizens to adhere to traffic rules and drive safely.
