“The country’s landscape will change only when youth enter politics” — Deepika Pandey Singh’s key message to students
Ranchi: Deepika Pandey Singh, Jharkhand’s Minister for Rural Development, Rural Works, and Panchayati Raj, stated that youth must step forward and assume leadership roles to bring about significant change in the country and society. It is the educated and socially conscious youth who will build a strong India and a developed Jharkhand for the future.
Minister Deepika Pandey Singh attended the student talent felicitation ceremony organized by the Public Schools and Children Welfare Association (PASWA), where she honored meritorious students who excelled in the 10th and 12th-grade board examinations.
She advised students to choose fields aligned with their interests and to move forward with hard work and dedication. Success is inevitable in any field—be it science, technology, arts, or sports—if pursued with perseverance and commitment.
Concern expressed over paper leaks and the evaluation process
Expressing concern over recent incidents involving paper leaks and CBSE evaluation issues, Deepika Pandey Singh stated that any injustice regarding students' futures is unacceptable. She emphasized the need to make the evaluation system more transparent.
She highlighted that the "Chhatron Ki Goonj" (Voice of Students) campaign, led by Rahul Gandhi, is an effort to strengthen the voice regarding students' issues and rights.
The Minister urged students not to lose heart, to focus on their goals, and to continue working hard. She remarked that today’s talented students will become tomorrow’s responsible citizens and the architects of a developed India.
