Jharkhand Chamber Active on Health Facilities, Discusses ESIC Issues with Regional Director
Ranchi: A delegation from the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by President Aditya Malhotra, met with the newly appointed Regional Director of ESIC, Shivendra Kumar. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the improvement of health facilities under the Employees' State Insurance Scheme and addressing pending issues in the state.
Key points of the meeting:
* Demand for new facilities: The delegation highlighted several priorities, including opening new dispensaries, launching ambulance services in major cities, and establishing new branch offices. The appointment of doctors through the ESIC committee was also emphasized.
* Bokaro Hospital issue: The construction of the ESIC hospital in Bokaro has been pending for a long time due to land valuation disputes between the state and central governments. The Chamber has decided to write to the central government to initiate a solution for this matter.
* Redressal of grievances: Sub-committee Chairman Pramod Saraswat appealed to the public to inform the Chamber if they face any medical inconveniences at ESIC hospitals. He also mentioned that problems can be resolved during the Suvidha Samagam meetings organized by the department every month.
