Lohardaga Municipal Elections: Election Symbols Allotted to Candidates, Election Campaign Intensifies
Lohardaga: Under the process of the Municipal (General) Election, 2026, the District Public Relations Office allotted election symbols to the candidates on Saturday, February 7. According to the list issued by the Election Officer, 10 candidates contesting for the post of Chairman have been given different symbols, including Anil Oraon who received 'Air Conditioner', Pawan Ekka who received 'Walking Stick', and Sanjay Toppo who received 'Bucket'.
Similarly, candidates from all 23 wards for the Ward Councillor post have also been assigned their election symbols. Interesting symbols such as Almirah, Baby Walker, Bat, and Pearl Necklace have become a topic of discussion in the wards. With the allocation of symbols, the candidates will now intensify their election campaigns in their respective areas. The administration has shared information about all the preparations through the media cell to ensure fair elections.
