Raghubar Das Leads Foot March in Ghatsila, Seeks Support for BJP Candidate

Jhaarkhand/East Singhbhum: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) showcased its strength in the Ghatsila Assembly by-election on Wednesday as former Chief Minister Raghubar Das led a massive foot march in support of party candidate Babulal Soren through the main markets of Jadugoda and Matigoda.

Hundreds of BJP workers and supporters joined the procession, which culminated at Rakha Copper Atak Chowk, where Raghubar Das felicitated Babulal Soren with a garland and appealed to the public for their wholehearted support.

As the march passed through the busy streets, locals and traders extended a warm welcome to the BJP leaders, expressing hopes for the party’s victory. Addressing the gathering, Raghubar Das said that only the BJP can put Jharkhand on a path of stable and sustainable development, urging voters not to miss the opportunity for change this time.

BJP election in-charge Suresh Sahu and senior leader Gurucharan Rajwar said the overwhelming public response reflected growing dissatisfaction with the Hemant Soren government and a strong desire for change. They emphasized that under Raghubar Das’s leadership, Jharkhand had moved toward development, while the current government has been mired in mismanagement and mineral exploitation.

Prominent BJP leaders including Gunjan Yadav, Vibhishan Sardar, Dr. U.K. Lal, Manoj Pratap Singh, Rohit Singh, Nutan Shree Dutta, and Haldhar Das were also present, along with a large number of party workers and supporters.
