The broken relationship of husband and wife was connected in Lok Adalat

Jharkhand/Palamu: On Saturday, the scene was seen in the National Lok Adalat when a shattered family was reunited. Due to the tireless efforts of Sanjeev Kumar Das, Chief Justice of Family Court Palamu, the dispute between the husband and wife ended and both decided to live happily with their eight-month-old innocent son.

The case is of Kanhai Thakur and his wife Rekha Devi, residents of Kankari village of Chainpur police station area. The mutual discord between the couple, who got married on 12 June 2023, increased so much that Rekha Devi was living separately from her husband since 20 June 2025. Troubled by this, Kanhai Thakur filed a case in the Family Court on 29 July 2025 under Section 9 to get his wife sent away.

During the reconciliation process in the National Lok Adalat, both the parties understood each other and agreed to give a new opportunity to the relationship.

On the occasion, the husband and wife welcomed each other by garlanding each other and reiterated their promise to stay together forever. This reunion of the husband and wife will not only prove to be a boon for their son's future, but is also an inspiration for the society that every dispute can be resolved through dialogue and mutual understanding.
