New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the "Healthy Women, Empowered Family" and "8th National Nutrition Month" campaigns in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, on his birthday today, September 17th. This nationwide campaign aims to provide women-centric healthcare services at the community level. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the campaign will be held from today until October 2nd at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centers (CHCs), district hospitals, and other government health centers across the country.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, more than one lakh health camps will be organized, making it the largest health campaign ever for women and children in the country. Health camps will be held daily at all government health centers across the country. Prime Minister Modi will also lay the foundation stone and launch several other initiatives on this occasion and address the gathering. Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, funds will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible women across the country with a single click. This will benefit approximately one million women across the country.
The Prime Minister will launch the Suman Sakhi chatbot to raise awareness about maternal and child health. This chatbot will provide timely and accurate information to pregnant women in rural and remote areas, ensuring their access to essential health services.
Advancing the country's collective fight against sickle cell anemia, the Prime Minister will distribute the state's 10 millionth sickle cell screening and counseling card.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the "Aadi Seva Parv" for Madhya Pradesh under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan. This will symbolize the confluence of tribal pride and the spirit of nation-building. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM Mitra Park in Dhar. Spread over 2,150 acres, the park will feature world-class facilities, including a common effluent treatment plant, a solar power plant, modern roads, and more, making it an ideal industrial township. It will also significantly benefit the region's cotton growers by providing better prices for their produce and increasing their income.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Modi will present a sapling to a beneficiary of a women's self-help group under the 'Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam' initiative of the state of Madhya Pradesh. More than 10 thousand women will develop 'Maa Ki Bagiya' in Madhya Pradesh. All the necessary resources are also being provided to the women groups to ensure the safety of the saplings.
