New Delhi: Keeping in mind the convenience of railway passengers, Northern Railway has decided to run special trains on the upcoming festivals.
According to Northern Railway, the weekly festival special will be run between Pune Junction and Hazrat Nizamuddin every Friday from 26 September to 28 November. Under this, train number 01491 will leave from Pune at 5.30 pm and will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 8 pm the next day. On return, train number 01492 will leave from Hazrat Nizamuddin every Saturday from 27 September to 29 November at 9.25 pm and will reach Pune at 11.55 pm the next day. This train will stop at Lonavala, Kalyan, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Udhna, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Shamgarh, Bhawani Mandi, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur and Mathura stations.
Similarly, the daily festival special between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Gorakhpur will run from 26 September to 30 November. Train number 01079 will leave CSMT at 10.30 pm and reach Gorakhpur at 10 am the next day. Train number 01080 from Gorakhpur will run daily from 28 September to 2 December at 2.30 pm and reach CSMT at 12.40 am on the third day. It will stop at many stations including Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti. Both trains will have air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches.
