Jharkhand/Ranchi: A security guard for Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji from Jharkhand set an example of honesty and generosity on Monday by returning a man's lost purse containing cash, a gold chain, an ATM card, and several other important documents. This information was provided by MP Mahua Maji.
The MP explained that Prashant, a resident of Karamtoli in Ranchi, who had come to Ranchi from Bengaluru after his father's death and was visiting Nakshatra Forest for the Shraddha rituals, lost his purse on the way. The purse contained cash, a gold chain, an ATM card, and several important documents.
She explained that Birendra Gop, a security guard deployed for her, found the purse lying on the road. Birendra immediately informed her, after which Mahua Maji personally took the matter seriously and arranged for the purse's original owner to be found. After receiving information about Prashant, she sent a message to his home, summoned him, and returned the purse to him.
On the occasion, Mahua Maji honored Birendra Gop by presenting him with a shawl and a bouquet. Prashant expressed his gratitude to MP Mahua Maji and the security personnel involved in her security team for safely returning his purse. He especially praised Birendra Gop's honesty and dedication.
