Lohardaga, September 24, 2026: In a major initiative to support talented students in pursuing their dreams of securing admission to the country’s prestigious National Law Universities (NLUs), the Lohardaga District Administration provided tablets to five selected students for their CLAT preparation.
The students — Sweety Singhal, Amrit Kumar, Himanshu Kumar, Love Prajapati and Mohammad Nazarul Islam — were selected following a comprehensive screening and interview process conducted jointly by the District Administration and the IDIA Trust.
A total of 3,543 students from 54 high schools across the district participated in the aptitude test (INAT). Following the screening and interview process, five students were shortlisted for specialised support towards their preparation for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena presented the tablets to the selected students and congratulated them on their achievement. He extended his best wishes for their bright future and encouraged them to prepare for CLAT with dedication and determination.
The Education Department and PPIA Fellows played a key role in facilitating the screening and interview process.
The IDIA Trust supports talented students from economically disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds by providing academic, technical and financial assistance to help them gain admission to leading law universities in India.
PD ITDA Sushma Neelam Soreng, District Education Officer Das Sunanda Chandramouleshwar and PPIA Fellows were present on the occasion.
The initiative marks an important step towards providing digital learning resources to deserving students and helping them move closer to their goal of securing admission to India’s leading law institutions.
