BJP Announces Major Move in Support of Student Protests; BJYM to Stage Demonstrations Across All Districts Today

In support of the ongoing student protests, the Jharkhand BJP has decided to hold demonstrations across all districts of the state today, August 1, under the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). Addressing a press conference, State General Secretary Amar Kumar Bauri stated that the BJP is demanding the cancellation of controversial examinations, a CBI inquiry into all recruitment exams, action against the guilty through fast-track courts, the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and the withdrawal of support to the government by the Congress party.
Amar Bauri alleged that the state government is attempting to shield the true masterminds behind the examination scams and that the investigations by the CID and ACB have amounted to nothing more than an "eyewash." He affirmed that the BJP stands firmly with the students and youth in their fight for justice. The party reiterated its demand for an impartial probe into alleged irregularities in the JPSC, JSSC, CGL, Junior Engineer, and Excise Constable recruitment examinations.
