Babulal Marandi Meets Governor; Demands High-Level Inquiry into Rajiv Lochan Bakshi Case
Ranchi: Leader of the Opposition, Babulal Marandi, met with the Governor to demand a high-level inquiry into allegations of financial irregularities, administrative misconduct, and the plundering of the public exchequer that allegedly occurred during the tenure of Rajiv Lochan Bakshi (IFS), the then-Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Ranchi Forest Division. During the meeting, he submitted a memorandum to the Governor, providing a detailed overview of the entire matter. Marandi alleged that widespread irregularities took place and public funds were misappropriated during Bakshi's tenure. Emphasizing the need for a forensic audit to ensure an impartial investigation, he asserted that strict action against the culprits is imperative to uphold transparency and accountability within the administration.
