Maiyan Samman Yojana: ₹97.32 Crore Disbursed to 3.89 Lakh Women in Ranchi; Block-wise Distribution Underway
Ranchi, April 05: Under the Chief Minister's Maiyan Samman Yojana, an honorarium of ₹2,500 for the month of March was transferred directly into the bank accounts of 389,296 women in Ranchi district via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). A total payment of ₹97.32 crore was made.
The block-wise breakdown of beneficiaries includes Angara (16,701), Bero (20,571), Burmu (17,816), Chanho (19,699), Kanke (31,548), Mandar (23,079), Nagri (17,856), Namkum (17,847), Ormanjhi (18,147), Ratu (18,545), Silli (21,120), Sonahatu (13,036), and Tamar (18,491).
In urban areas, payments were disbursed in Argora (13,360), Hehal (15,245), Sadar (24,780), and Namkum (9,489), among other localities. Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri stated that the funds have been made available to all beneficiaries in a timely and transparent manner.
