Ranchi: Political activity was intense during a grand induction ceremony held at the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Rashmi Singh—a prominent Congress leader and Ward Councilor of the Phusro Municipal Council—formally joined the BJP, accompanied by hundreds of her supporters. State President and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu welcomed the newcomers into the BJP family by presenting them with the party's ceremonial sash.


Immense enthusiasm was witnessed among the supporters during this induction ceremony. A large number of attendees also obtained online membership of the party via a missed call service. Several key office-bearers were present on this occasion, including State Vice President Balmukund Sahay, State Co-Media In-charge Yogendra Pratap Singh, Ashok Baraik, Bokaro District President Surendra Raj, and Archana Singh.

Addressing the gathering, State President Aditya Sahu stated that people are continuously joining the BJP, inspired by the Central Government's pro-people welfare policies and transparent governance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Specifically highlighting the power of women (*Nari Shakti*), he remarked that the BJP views women not merely as participants, but as a leading force for development. The party remains ever-ready to accord women equal rights, respect, and opportunities for leadership.


Aditya Sahu expressed confidence that the induction of Rashmi Singh and her supporters would infuse new energy and strength into the organization at the grassroots level.


Key Figures Joining the Party


Among those who joined the BJP alongside Rashmi Singh were hundreds of party workers, including prominent figures such as Vinay Singh, Anil Singh, Vijendra Kumar, Urmila Devi, Shobha Singh, Seema Singh, Nidhi Singh, Rajiv Ranjan, Vikram Kumar, and Shweta Singh. This political realignment is expected to further strengthen the BJP's foothold in Phusro and the surrounding regions.
