🗣️ Chamber President Questions Status of Industrial Areas

The meeting saw the key presence of Aditya Malhotra, President of the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce, and former President, Ranjit Tibrewal. Mr. Malhotra raised significant concerns regarding the current state of industrial areas in the state.

His main demands and objections were:

 * Detailed Land Inventory: He requested a detailed account from GIADA regarding the number of allotted plots versus the vacant plots in various industrial areas to assess the actual progress of industrial development.

 * Devipur Delay: Mr. Malhotra strongly objected to the fact that entrepreneurs in the Devipur Industrial Area had not been given possession of their plots, despite the allotment being made years ago. He demanded an explanation for the severe delay and immediate action.

 * Creation of New Areas: He stressed the need for the creation of additional industrial areas across the state to accommodate new ventures and further stimulate economic activity.

🏛️ Attendees

GIADA officials assured the Chamber President that a detailed report on the issues raised would be provided soon. Senior officers from the MSME Institute, the Energy Department, and other high-ranking GIADA officials were also present at the meeting.
