To eradicate the evil of terrorism, we need the strength and determination of Rama: Madhu Koda

Jharkhand/West Singhbhum: On Thursday, a grand Ravana Dahan ceremony was organized by the Sri Sri Durga Puja Committee, Pillai Hall, on the occasion of Dussehra. Former Chief Minister Madhu Koda and former MP Geeta Koda attended the event as chief guests, amidst the presence of thousands of people.

Addressing the gathering after burning Ravana, former Chief Minister Madhu Koda said that Dussehra gives us the message that truth triumphs over falsehood and good triumphs over evil. He said that if we consider the mentality of Ravana in today's times, Pakistan-sponsored terrorism is the biggest example. The terrorists who killed innocent people in attacks like Pulwama and Pahalgam are emblematic of that Ravana, whose end is certain.

Koda said that just as Rama established Dharma by killing Ravana, similarly, to eradicate the evil of terrorism, we need the strength and determination of Rama. Whenever sin increases in the world, great men like Ram will be born and the mentality of Ravana will end.

Former MP Geeta Koda said that this festival of Vijayadashami inspires society to move forward with love, brotherhood, and unity. She said that burning Ravana is not just a symbol, but also gives confidence that evils like terrorism and hatred are sure to end.

Madhu Koda expressed her gratitude to the officials of the Durga Puja Committee for the successful organization of the event and said that the continuous grand events are the result of the committee's spirit of service and determination.
