Uttarakhand/Haridwar(H.S.): Bahadarabad police station has arrested three accused of cow slaughter and recovered five quintals of meat and cow slaughtering equipment from their possession.
According to the information, Bahadarabad police station received information about cow slaughter on the information of an informer. As soon as the information was received, the police raided a house in village Margubpur of the police station area, where Mohd. Asif was caught slaughtering cows in his enclosure along with his brothers Sadiq and Sahil. Police recovered about 500 kg of cow meat and cow slaughtering equipment from the spot. Police called a veterinary doctor on the spot and destroyed the cow meat after taking necessary legal action. Police has filed a case against all three and challaned them.
