New Delhi(H.S): The domestic stock market is in a bullish trend during early trade today. Today's trading started with a slight increase. As soon as the market opened, buyers started buying, due to which the movement of both Sensex and Nifty indices gained momentum. After trading till 10 am, Sensex was trading with a strength of 0.48 percent and Nifty with a strength of 0.49 percent.
After trading till 10 am, among the stock market's leading stocks, shares of Tech Mahindra, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank and Hero MotoCorp were trading with a strength of 1.62 percent to 1.05 percent. On the other hand, shares of Hindustan Unilever, Jio Financial, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel were seen trading with a decline of 0.57 percent to 0.11 percent.
Till now, there was active trading in 2,220 shares in the stock market. Out of these, 1,796 shares were trading in the green mark by making profit, while 424 shares were trading in the red mark by suffering loss. Similarly, out of the 30 stocks included in the Sensex, 25 stocks remained in the green mark with the support of buying. On the other hand, 5 stocks were trading in the red mark under the pressure of selling, while out of the 50 stocks included in the Nifty, 42 stocks were seen trading in the green mark and 8 stocks in the red mark.
The BSE Sensex opened today with a marginal gain of 19.34 points at 79,828.99 points. As soon as the trading started, the buyers made a strong buying push, due to which the movement of this index gained momentum. Although there was a shock of profit booking in between, despite this, the movement of this index remained bullish with the support of buying. After the trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, the Sensex was trading at the level of 80,192.53 points with a gain of 382.88 points.
Like the Sensex, NSE's Nifty also started trading today with a symbolic gain of 5.85 points at the level of 24,432.70 points. Buying started as soon as the market opened, due to which this index gained momentum. However, there was a slight shock of selling in between, despite this the index continued to rise. After the trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, the Nifty was trading at the level of 24,547.15 points with a gain of 120.30 points.
Earlier, on the last trading day of last week, on Friday, the Sensex closed at 79,809.65 points with a loss of 270.92 points or 0.32 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty ended Friday's trading at 24,426.85 points with a loss of 74.05 points or 0.30 percent.
