Jharkhand/Palamu: The Composite Control Room (CCR) was inaugurated in the district's Superintendent of Police office on Monday.
Daltonganj MLA Alok Chaurasia and Inspector General Shailendra Kumar Sinha jointly inaugurated the room. DC Samira S, SP Reshma Rameshan, Additional Collector Kundan Kumar, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) District President Rajendra Kumar Sinha, Vice President Shanu Siddiqui, and several police personnel were present.
The Composite Control Room will monitor 113 high-definition CCTV cameras installed in various areas of Medininagar city. The cameras are equipped with 360-degree active HDR technology. These cameras will provide clear images even in varying lighting conditions. The installation of these cameras will help in controlling and preventing crime, snatching, molestation, and road accidents.
On the occasion, MLA Alok Chaurasia said that these cameras will control crime and our district will be at the forefront in terms of better law and order. He congratulated the police administration for this.
Inspector General of Police Shailendra Kumar Sinha said that 113 CCTV cameras have been installed in different parts of the urban area and this will help the police in controlling crime. He said that Palamu Police is committed to controlling crime and this initiative is in that direction.
