Ranchi: The 11th National Ayurveda Day was celebrated today (September 23, 2026) at Birsa Munda Airport under the auspices of the Airports Authority of India. The main theme for this year's event was "Ayurveda for a Healthier Future."

Ayurveda expert Dr. Parul was invited as the chief guest and addressed the airport officers and staff. She highlighted the three main pillars of Ayurveda—Ahar (Diet), Nidra (Sleep), and Brahmacharya (Lifestyle/Self-control)—and explained the importance of adopting healthy daily habits based on these principles.

During the concluding session, Airport Director Vinod Kumar encouraged the staff to stay mindful of their health. He advised them to avoid distractions like TV, laptops, or mobile phones while eating, and instead focus completely on experiencing the taste and process of their meals.
