Major CBI Raid in Bokaro; Action Taken at Residence of Retired GST Officer Shakti Singh
Investigation underway since morning at House No. 53 in Kailash Housing (Chira Chas police station area); the raid has become a topic of discussion in the locality
Bokaro: A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted a raid on Tuesday at Kailash Housing, located within the Chira Chas police station area of Bokaro district. The operation is being carried out at House No. 53, the residence of Shakti Singh.
The CBI team is currently engaged in the investigation at the site. A nameplate reading "Superintendent, Government of India" is displayed outside the house. Tight security arrangements have been put in place during the raid, and the entry of outsiders is being monitored.
Locals are refraining from sharing much information about Shakti Singh. According to preliminary details, Shakti Singh is a retired officer from the Goods and Services Tax (GST) department. He was previously posted in Bihar and retired approximately two years ago.
However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the specific case for which this CBI action is being taken. The agency has not issued any statement in this regard either. Detailed information concerning the matter is likely to emerge only after the raid concludes.
