Chief Minister Hemant Soren Fills Out SIR Enumeration Form; Urges Eligible Voters to Complete Verification on Time
Ranchi, July 2, 2026: To boost the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign for the electoral roll in Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren personally filled out and submitted his enumeration form on Thursday at the Chief Minister's official residence on Kanke Road. During the event, he appealed to all eligible voters in the state to fill out the SIR form and verify their details in the electoral roll within the stipulated timeframe.
The Chief Minister stated that the strength of democracy relies on the active participation of every citizen. He remarked that an accurate and up-to-date electoral roll is the most crucial foundation for free, fair, and transparent elections. Therefore, all eligible voters should complete the SIR process within the prescribed deadline.
In the presence of election officials, the Booth Level Officer (BLO) for Booth No. 290 of the 64-Hatia Assembly constituency facilitated the completion of the enumeration process for the Chief Minister. MLA Kalpana Soren also filled out and submitted her SIR form on this occasion, marking her participation in the campaign.
Urging the public, the Chief Minister asked them to encourage not only themselves but also their family members, relatives, neighbors, and other eligible voters to participate in the SIR campaign, ensuring the state's electoral roll becomes fully updated and error-free.
It is noteworthy that under the Special Intensive Revision campaign across the state, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are conducting door-to-door visits to distribute enumeration forms and verify voter details.
District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi Manjunath Bhajantri, Sub-Divisional Officer Kumar Rajat, ERO-cum-ADM Dhananjay, Deputy Election Officer Vivek Kumar Suman, and BLO Veronica Devi were present on the occasion.
