Jharkhand's Mega Investment Drive in Delhi; Industrialists from India and Abroad to Gather on July 8-9

Ranchi, July 2: The Jharkhand government will organize a 'National Stakeholders Consultation' in New Delhi on July 8 and 9, 2026, with the aim of accelerating the state's 'Vision 2050'. Industrialists, investors, policymakers, and technical experts from India and abroad will participate in this two-day event, which is being held under the joint aegis of the Information Technology, Industries, and Tourism departments.

On Thursday, IT Department Secretary Pooja Singhal and Industries Department Secretary Arva Rajkamal paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Jharkhand Mantralaya and invited him to attend the event as the chief guest. Rajiv Lochan Bakshi, Special Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department, was also present during the meeting.

According to the government, the conference will feature comprehensive discussions on new investment prospects in Jharkhand's industrial development, IT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital governance, and tourism sectors. During the event, drafts of several key policies—including the Jharkhand AI Policy, Jharkhand Investment Promotion Policy, Jharkhand Tourism Policy, Jharkhand Textile Policy, JIADA Regulations, and PPP Policy—will be released to solicit suggestions from the industry and other stakeholders.

Special sessions on digital governance, IT infrastructure, and AI will be held on the first day of the conference. Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings between the government and IT companies will take place, and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed with several companies.

The second day will focus on investment, inclusive growth, and tourism. The state's industrial and tourism potential will be showcased to investors. On this day, investment-related agreements (MoUs) will be signed with several major industrial groups, and the government's new policy drafts and digital portals will be launched.

The government believes that this event will prove significant in attracting investment to the state, creating new employment opportunities, and realizing the vision of 'Explore Infinite Opportunities'. This initiative is also part of a strategy to further accelerate global investment following Jharkhand's participation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. The event will conclude with a vibrant cultural performance showcasing Jharkhand's rich cultural heritage, offering guests from the worlds of industry and policymaking—both domestic and international—an opportunity to experience the state's culture, folk dances, and folk music.
