Social Worker Sanjay Sarraf Honoured on Completion of PM Modi's 12 Years in Office


Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth honoured him with a traditional stole (*angavastra*), memento, and booklet.


Ranchi: Renowned social worker and businessman from Ranchi, Sanjay Sarraf, was honoured for his outstanding social contributions at a ceremony marking the successful completion of 12 years of the Central Government's service, good governance, and welfare for the poor under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event was held at Bhuwalka House on Kanke Road, where Ranchi MP and Union Minister of State for Defence, Sanjay Seth, honoured him by presenting a traditional stole, a shawl, a memento, and a special booklet.


Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the country is continuously advancing on the path of service, good governance, and welfare for the poor. He expressed pride and happiness in honouring social workers who serve society selflessly. He emphasized that the role of social workers in nation-building and raising social awareness is crucial, and their contributions deserve constant recognition.


Sanjay Sarraf, the recipient of this honour, has been actively involved in social, religious, and public welfare activities across various parts of Jharkhand, including Ranchi, for nearly two decades. He has consistently worked to promote social harmony, public awareness, organizational unity, and service initiatives. His contributions have earned him a distinct identity in the social sector.


Currently, Sanjay Sarraf holds key responsibilities, including Provincial Joint General Secretary of the Jharkhand Provincial Marwari Sammelan and Vice President of Hindi Sahitya Bharati. He also serves as the Provincial Spokesperson and Media In-charge for the Shri Krishna Pranami Seva Dham Trust, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (Seva Vibhag), Jharkhand Parents Association, Rashtriya Sanatan Ekta Manch, and Pavitram Seva Parivar. Additionally, he is associated with several social and religious organizations—such as the Agarwal Sabha, Marwari Sahayak Samiti, and the Indian Red Cross Society—and continues to advance the cause of public service.


Attendees at the ceremony praised Sanjay Sarraf's social contributions, describing them as an inspiration for others working in the field of social service. Many prominent citizens and distinguished members of the community were present at the event, including former MP Ajay Maru, Councilor Nakul Tirkey, Bhagwati Bhuwalka, Mukesh Kabra, Kailash Singhania, Rajendra Prasad Agarwal, Ravindra Modi, Jayant Shahdeo, Pushpa Bhuwalka, and Aditya Bhuwalka.
