JMM Holds Booth-Level Conference in Jhumri Telaiya to Ensure Success of SIR Campaign; Thousands of Workers Participate
Koderma/Jhumri Telaiya: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) organized a one-day booth-level and BLA-2 conference at the Viraj Hotel in Jhumri Telaiya. The conference was presided over by District President Birendra Pandey, while District Secretary Pawan Michael Kujur conducted the proceedings. JMM Central General Secretary and Spokesperson Vinod Pandey attended the event as the chief guest.
The primary objective of the conference was to ensure the success of the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign and to further strengthen the organization at the booth level. During the event, BLA-2 agents and booth workers were provided with crucial information regarding the voter list revision process. Leaders urged the workers to remain active in their respective areas and ensure that no eligible voter is left out of the electoral roll.
Chief Guest Vinod Pandey stated that JMM is committed to upholding democratic values and protecting the rights of voters. He instructed all district and block-level office bearers to ensure the timely resolution of issues faced by booth workers and BLA-2 members. He emphasized that the organization's strength relies on booth-level workers and that addressing their concerns must be a priority.
In his address, while highlighting the state government's public welfare schemes, he noted that the 'Maiya Samman Yojana' has provided financial support to lakhs of women, while the 'Sarvajan Pension Yojana' is helping the elderly, widows, and persons with disabilities lead dignified lives.
The conference was attended by Janki Prasad Yadav (Chairman, Jharkhand Backward Classes Commission), Shalini Gupta (Former District Council President), central committee members, district office bearers, block presidents and secretaries, office bearers from various frontal organizations, and a large number of party workers.
